The Grout Pond Recreation Area is one of Southern Vermont's hidden gems. Grout Pond Recreation Area is 1,600 acres of the Green Mountain National Forest set aside for year-round recreation. Grout Pond is a very popular destination for camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing all based around the 80 acre Grout Pond.
